If I have been hipnotized for something in Manhatan that was Times Square. I have been there almost every day, and always I was with my mouth open, as if I was hipnotized. So many screems, so many lights, colours and advertisements can't let you stay indiferent.
...and if you want to see people, all of them are here. I am afraid of too many people but Times square, Ça vaut le coût!
My guide works at here, and I guess that is why he runs out of battey all the time...

I understand your reaction to all those lights and movement, the pictures seem as you were part of a movie. lucky you again!! but now because you were able to get lost in NY, I love loosing myself and finding myself again in big cities. NY, NY...amazing
